Junior Achievement
Junior Achievement

Thanks to the community members that came to Ramseur Elementary on Tuesday, December 10, to host Junior Achievement Days with our kindergarten and fifth grade students!

Community members taught lessons provided by Junior Achievement that aligned with the North Carolina Social Studies Standards. Our fifth grade students participated in engaging lessons and activities focusing on entrepreneurship, the value of a dollar, finding a career, and characteristics of a good employee. The lessons were relevant and prepared students to be successful as contributing adults in the 21st  century!

The kindergarten students learned about needs and wants. They learned how to earn and save money. Students got to discuss what they could do to earn money now and what they would do when they got older to earn money. They received a bank to take home and use to assist them with saving their money.
